Cupcakes: A Sparkle of Hope

WARNING. This made me sad to write, but the idea was in my head, and so I had to write it.

It was an unusually cloudy day in Ponyville. Twilight was busy with her books,
early in the morning. Spike crawled out of bed and climbed down the ladder,
rubbing his eyes, he greets Twilight. "Oh, good morning, Spike." Twilight replied cheerfully.
"Studying as always eh? Ya know, it seems awfully cloudy today, and the weather was
supposed to be sunny. Twilight looked out of the window. She was so engrossed in her studies
she hadn't even noticed. "Hmm..those Pegasus must be sleeping in or something.
Maybe I should check it out." She trotted around the room, floating all of her books back
into their appropriate places. "Now that I think about it..my friends haven't been coming
around like they usually do lately either..I think something might be wrong here..

Come on, Spike, let's go check this out and see what's going on."
and with that the two trotted out of her house and walking around ponyville,
she noticed it wasn't only the Pegasus that seemed to be missing, but everyone else.
There wasn't a pony on the street. It couldn't be Zecora again.. We cleared up that misunderstanding.
But then..what could be causing this isolation? "What in Equestria is going on here?"
Twilight inquired as she wandered around, looking in through all the empty windows.

Then she heard..music. "Hey Twilight, you hear that? It must be coming from Sugarcube Corner.
I'll bet Pinkie Pie's throwing a party right now!", Spike said as he pointed in the
direction of the happy, upbeat music. "Hmm..strange. Why wasn't I invited? Oh well,
might as well go see what's shakin' down there!" as Twilight trotted faster, with a happy face,
and a slightly unnerving feeling in her stomach.

When she opened the door to the sweet shop, the bell rang, but no one came.
No one was there. Nothing except a pie sitting on a table in the middle of the shop with a
piece of paper laying next to it that read "For my very best friend, Twilight Sparkle,
from Pinkie Pie and Applejack. The party is downstairs, we're all waiting for you!"
Twilight's eyes sparkled and she giggled. "Oh, those guys, what were they thinking?
What if I hadn't come in?" and she picked up the delicious looking pie with her horn
and began to take bites as she headed down to the cellar, where the music got louder.
It was the most delicious apple pie she'd ever had. She could definitely tell Applejack
helped her out in making it.

When she reached the bottom step, she saw Pinkie Pie crouched on the floor, her face turned
away from the light of the upstairs. The whole room was pitch black.
"P-Pinkie? What are you doing alone in the dark?", Twilight asked nervously, expecting to
have seen her dancing and playing with the other ponies.
Without moving her body, she tilted her head back and looked at Twilight with huge,
crazed eyes. "I'm not alone in the dark." Twilight was getting really worried as Pinkie
slumped up off the floor and trotted into the darkness. "Hey..w-what's going on here?
Is something wrong, Pinkie?" Spike looked equally worried "Y-yeah..this doesn't seem
like the normal you, Pinkie Pie. and why's it so dark in here? Things would be more lively
if ya turned on the light!" Pinkie giggled "That's right, Spike, and it might just
shed some light on our little party!"

Spike hopped on Twilight's back and flipped the switch. Horror instantly filling his whole body.
Right in front of his eyes, Pinkie held Rarity's head, detached from her body. In place of
her usual makeup was her own blood,and some of her organs strung along in her dirty mane.
Spike was about to scream but instead toppled off of Twilight's back and vomited, as the pony
stood there, terrified, unable to move from the shock. "Heehee, oh Spike, throwing up already?
We haven't even broke out the sarsaparilla yet! Besides, I thought you had a crush on Rarity.
Isn't she pretty? You can have her. She'll be all yours! I mean, golly, I did her up
like this just for YOU!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

"W-w-why?! Why...would you do that to her??! What did she do to deserve this?!", whimpered
Twilight through tears, as her little baby dragon assistant laid on the floor, curled up
in a ball sobbing uncontrollably, calling out Rarity's name. Pinkie Pie began to cry too, and
embraced Twilight. "Help...me...", she whispered. Before Twilight could think of what to
say or do in the situation, Pinkie grabbed a crowbar and from behind her and with a quick thud
she was out cold.

When she awoke, she was chained up. The chains were rusted with blood and an overwhelming pain
overcame her as she scream in anguish. A warm trickle flowed down from her head.
Pinkie appeared in front of her as if out of nowhere, with a grin on her face and..
a horn, a purple horn attached to her head like a party hat. "pi..nkie Pie...my horn...
what..did you...do?" Twilight asked quietly, while shaking. "Heheeheehe, what a silly question.
I cut your horn off and put it on like a party hat, obviously! I think it adds to the festivities,
and you can't use your pesky magic to break free either. That would ruin it all, of course!"
She replied cheerfully.

"W-where's Spike?!" she asked as she realized her own situation, hoping her poor dragon
was okay. Pinkie Pie smiled and began to sing "Oh clueless Twiliiight, just take a moment,
take a look around you! Spike, he's all taped up to the wall, look how close he's
holding his precious Rarityyy~" Spike by this point could only dully stare at Twilight,
dried tears on his face, and lines underneath his eyes. There were a couple small burn marks
on the walls, as he must have put up a struggle, for he was beaten and bruised.
"Entrails painted up like rainbows, skulls with silly designs,
the tails of our little friends, hanging up on the waaaall!~ Look, see? Life is a partyyyy~!"

Dashy was sad to bake, but she was oh so yummy! Fluttershy, couldn't even stay awake,
she was no fun at all, she just sobbed and let me cut her up. Now Applejack, SHE was a fun one!
OOH OOH Twilight, that reminds me, did she taste good?!" Pinkie leaned in close looking excited
as Twilight began to feel even more sick, and threw up chunks of pie all over herself.
"A-Applejack...e-everyone...g-g-gone??........why, Pinkie..why did you do all this?", she asked,
desperately trying to make sense of the situation.

Pinkie put a hoof to her chin and contemplated "Well, I'm not sure what to do with you yet,
Twilight. There are no more ponies to eat my cupcakes..hahahhahahahaa..it's silly how it all started..
It was a happy, sunshiney day, and I was baking treats as usual. Well, as I was singing and
dancing, a little philly trotted in without me noticing. I think she was trying to steal from us,
because I didn't even notice her until I accidentally bumped my little rump into her.
I'd already preheated the oven, so she was flung right in. As she began to scream, I panicked.
Sure, I could have saved her, but what would people think of me? What punishment would I get?
I'd never be allowed to run Sugarcube Corner again! That would just be..NOT cool you know?
So I whacked her over the head..with a frying pan, and shoved the oven door shut until she was
baked to a crisp. I started laughing. It reminded me of the time Applebloom tried making cupcakes with me.

When I took her out, I carried her off to the cellar, so no one would know, and I painted her up,
and made her look like an innocent statue. Heehee, I even drew a mustache on her!
You can't see 'cause you're all tied up, but she's RIIIGHT behind you~"

Pinkie continued on. "After that, thinking of making cupcakes with Applebloom, the crisp philly
gave me a great idea. I wanted to see what ponies tasted like baked into cupcakes,
because I mean, no one's done THAT before! My first choice was a solitary pony, one I knew
no one would come looking for, and when I sold him, the customer said it was the bestest
cupcake she'd ever had before! After hearing that, I couldn't just STOP. Everypony was
enjoying my new recipe." She giggled again "One of the ponies came in asking for my
secret recipe, I remember, it was so funny! I told her; silly, if I told you, it wouldn't
be a secret, now would it? We both laughed and she trotted off with her treat."

But enough about the past.. I couldn't stop..and now..I have to finish my job."
Twilight was in full panic mode. "PINKIE NO! NO, DON'T! I THOUGHT WE WERE ALL BEST FRIENDS?
WHAT ABOUT THE MAGIC? THE GOOD TIMES WE HAD?" Pinkie Pie then cackled like nopony had
ever heard her laugh before, as tears ran down her face. "I knew this would be hard.
Good thing I brought this duct tape! Can't have you making me feel all sad when we're
TRYING to have a party here, silly Twilight!" and with that she sealed her mouth shut and
muttered "they really were..magical times..but..I can never go back to those now..

ANYWAY! Let's start!" and with that, Pinkie grabbed a scalpel, and neatly tore off the part
of her skin where her magical cutie mark lay. Twilight screamed and cried from the terrible pain.
Her heart ached, and her body burned and stung. She came to Ponyville to stop Nightmare Moon,
but found friendship....and to have it end like this? Pinkie trotted over to Spike and
freed his hands and handed him a scroll. "Spike, take a note!" with these words,
Twilight sobbed uncontrollably. Thinking of Princess Celestia, and the message she was
about to receive. "Today I learned a valuable lesson. If you make a mistake,
you shouldn't try to hide it. Things can get out of control like you would have never
imagined. Sorry Princess, but I'm gonna take in your precious student now.
But I'll be a good girl once I'm done with her. Your spastic resident of Ponyville, Pinkie Pie."

"That's how it's done, right Twilight? Okie dokie loki, Spike, send that baby out now!"
Having given up all hope, he obeyed the pink pony without resistance and with a breathe of fire,
the letter had been sent. Pinkie trotted back over to Twilight, humming to herself.
"Twilight..I've had enough..I'm gonna make this quick..Maybe...everyone is waiting for us..
in Pony Heaven." Then she giggled. "but I guess I wouldn't make it in with you all..
and you wouldn't want to see me again anyway.." Tears streamed down the face of the lost pony
with a deadly grin on her face, bags under her eyes, twitching and drooling.
She took a machete and began hacking off Twilight's mane and tale, adding it to the collection.

Then she took a pair of sharp, precise scissors "I don't want you..to see what I'm about to do
so...Eye'd better be precise! HAHAHAHAHAAAA..haaa...haaa..." and with that she picked up
another pair of scissors and asked "why are they called a pair of scissors? A pair is
what I have in my hooves now." She dropped one, picked the first one up in her mouth and
shoved it into Twilight's left eye. One last scream was heard, but she could feel herself
fading in and out, and her other eye was stabbed out, and her vision was black.

Barely conscious, she could hear Pinkie Pie laughing and sobbing. "I..I can't stop laughing,
but..there's NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT THIS!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
another sharp object pierced Twilight near the heart and tore through her and down her stomach.

Twilight was no more.

Poor Spike, just a baby, died from the shock and grief, still stuck to Rarity's
slightly rotted, severed head.

Pinkie Pie carried the limp, lifeless friend of hers upstairs, entrails and organs falling
out with each step.

and then she mixed together some sugar, flour, and other tasty treats in preparation.
As she stuck Twilight in the oven, she whispered "I'll make the frosting purple..for you..
and..then...then..."

she sobbed again..the element of laughter's eyes were red and sore from tears.
"I'll be a good little pony, and follow you.."

"All I gotta do is layer on the frosting, I used your very best bits.
Now I'll eat them all up, one by one, no one here to share with..
This baking charade has been such a pain, and now it's finally over.

Spring into Adventure! [A Form of Love and Tragedy] PART FOUR

As Kuma lay in the grass, she noticed the black roses, and the now wilting trees. The birds have stopped chirping.
Letting out a whimper, the little bear runs away, her man asleep in the grass. Sage walks over quietly to QuiZNo

wielding a sword in the design of a leek.

for the frightened bear. Catching up, she lunges at Kuma and stabs her in the back leg. The frightened bear roars in pain.
"GAO~!!!!!!! IT HURTS! IT HURTS! KUMA IS IN PAIN!" Sage stepped closer into the bear's vision.
She suddenly starts to tear up and says "I'm sorry I'm so sorry! Oh.. I don't want to hurt you..but I have to.. for my onii-chan.."
and with that she stabs the bear over and over, tears running down her face as she keeps apologizing.
With Kuma's last breathe, she whispers "B-bread...I want...some...bread..."

Sage collapses to the ground and laughs. Once she gains her composure, she prances back over to where she left QuiZNo to rest.
As she is walking over, he gets up, and notices Kuma gone. "Hey..uh..Sage right? Have you seen a little fuzzy bear around here?"
the man asked, puzzled also by the change in scenery. Sage smiles nervously "N-nope, I haven't seen a bear this whole time.
But uh...Hey..y-you're really..c-cool.." she stumbles out her words, blushing furiously.
The man blushes too, surprised "M-me? B-but I barely know you. But, thank you! I am really cool huh?"
She nods her head furiously "Y-YEAH! Really cool! I've been watching you!"
"Watching me?"
"Ah, no, forget that." she replies with a warm smile.

The moment gets awkward. Sage looks to the ground and asks "what should we do now, onii-chan?"

Some sort of Story

So I've really hit a slump lately, haven't been able to think of silly stuff for the next part of the fanfic, but it will be done.

I came to a town on a foggy, grey morning.
Before me stood a very small building. So much, that I was able to easily climb on top of it. I cannot see far into the distance in this fog, but ahead of me, I see a slightly taller building, and so I hop over to it. Hop, hop, hop..
the buildings are like stairs leading me higher and higher. I can no longer see the ground. The wind starts to pick up and blows my dress around, my petticoat fluttering beneath it. My stockings and long sleeves keep me warm, and I hold my hat down on my head. The fog slowly begins to part ahead of me, and I see on the next building a sign. Upon closer investigation, it reads "Please wait for me here. I will come for you, so please wait." It is written in my lover's handwriting.

Yes, I set off to find him, yet I have only been wandering aimlessly, with no clue.
I feel slightly uneasy. Was it my heart that lead me in the right direction?
I sit down and dangle my feet off the edge of the building. 2 hours pass, and the waiting continues. My mind is a mess, but I continue to wait for him.
Each minute feels so slow, as I keep pulling out my pocket watch. I heave a sigh and stare into the distance. A neon pink and purple being is floating towards me.

As it gets closer I can see more details clearly. One eye, bright green. A few tiny little tentacles for feet, and a single bunny ear on its head. Its hands are longer than its body and they limply flail behind it as it floats closer and closer.
I tense up, but don't move from this spot. When the creature gets to me, it begins to speak. "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting for so long, darling."
Its voice, was indeed that of my lover, but it was more high pitched, and made weird noises. But this thing..
it couldn't possibly be my beloved.. this thing isn't even human!

Despite my shock and fear, my mouth began to move, and out came words of my own.
"It's alright, you are here now, and that's all that matters to me. I have found you, and I will hold you tightly."
with those words, I outstretched my arms and the glowing creature came in closer and wrapped his long arms around me, shedding a giant tear from its eye as it smiled.
"You are not afraid now that you see me like this? How can you still want me?", it asked with a hint of both happiness and sorrow.

"It doesn't matter what you look like. You are the man I love with all my heart. You are my special someone, and I love everything about you, even if I see now things I did not know before, let's be happy together, ok?"

and with that, he began to shine brightly, and the world around us shifted and warped into a beautiful field of flowers. When I opened my eyes, there he was, still in my arms, with the appearance of the man I had known and loved. Not a sign of what he just was left, and I looked into his eyes lovingly, and kissed him.
Now we can have our dance, as the butterflies circle around us, and the sun shines softly through the clouds.

Spring into Adventure [A Form of Love and Tragedy] PART THREE

Sorry for the wait, folks. Hit a creativity slump recently.

and looked at her nervously. "Kuma.

All of the people shuffled over and grabbed a hat, because everyone likes hats.
"Well, that was weird, but what should we do now?", asked LunaticSky.
"Remember to lock your doors at night", said HALOOWNMASTER, staring off blankly into the distance.
Everyone nodded and starting getting high.

One man stood away from the crowd, looking at the ground.
"Pip pip, cheerio, whot in Great Britain seems to be the problem, Ronery?", asked Reading Steiner,
walking over with a cane, and adjusting his monocle.
"I don't even know what I'm doing here. I'm so ronery ;_;"
Steiner put his arm around him "Now now, darling, you have me. Why don't we ditch these chaps
and have a little fun of our own?" Ronery wiped away a single tear and grabbed his hand.
As they walked away, fingers intertwined, the others looked on with disgust at the lewd act already happening.

"WHAT THE HELL?!"

Confusion and fright filled a once empty space, where a group of people all stood,
frantically looking around at their surroundings. The floor, while almost completely transparent,
seemed to have nothing below it either. There were no walls, only a vast, red and purple sky
filled with colorful designs. Some sweet, others plain disturbing, making for a weird, tense enviornment.
The people got together and tried to make sense of their current situation.
Having spent the majority of their time in front of computer screens, human interaction itself was unnerving,
let alone in this eerie, unearthly place. With the awkward mingling, they had all established that the last
thing they remembered was being on their computers, so, while farfetch'd, the only verdict they could agree on
was that they had been sucked into some sort of electronic world. Suddenly, a light sparked from above,
a pink and green aura surrounded a sillohuetted figure.

"Welcome, everyone, to the euphoric sensation. To the show of a lifetime, a play, in which all of you

Everyone stared up at the figure speaking, now in a state of shock, as they all looked at each other,
these people they interacted with daily, but did not recognize.
The figure continued on "You may do as you wish in here. While it may appear there is nothing,

shirt down in embarrassment, in order to hide his own wood. The tree spoke up with a booming voice
"DON'T BE SUCH A SHIT, YOU. There's no need to be reserved, touch that smooth wooden stick to my
rough, dry bark. DO IT NOW, FAGGOT."
"...Oh, ok..", replied Zodler.

The remaining formspringers stood in awe, at the lewd act that was quickly happening before them.

So this whole blogging thing seems right up my alley, since I love to ramble and talk about shit. This right here I will be using to post my random short stories on.
So far since I've started writing them, I've been just saving them to a notepad, but with my past experiences with computers dying on me and losing all my stuff, and the giant folder I used to own full of great stories that got destroyed, I decided I'd put my shit up somewhere that can't be so easily erased.

So basically a lot of my stories lately are ones I just type at random in formspring responses every now and then, but others are done by myself and aren't QUITE as off the top of my head. For the most part they're pretty nonsensical, but I'm told they're quite interesting, so I hope you enjoy reading them, viewer!
